Mitsu's Elona Reach Runner
16 Shadow Arts is the only necessary stat.
Rec. Totem Axe (or any +20% enchant) and a shield with the following bonuses: +30hp, -5/20%.
Deadly Paradox, Shadow Form(e), Dark Escape, Heart of Shadow, Feigned Neutrality, Dash, Purge Conditions, Resurrect.
I came up with this build about 12 days ago. I haven't seen a *single* other Assassin doing the run and you get asked whether you're 100% alot. Just ignore people giving you a hard time. They aren't worth the air they breathe, let alone a moment of your attention. Time is money.
Method: The first area is easy. Just use Deadly Paradox and Dark Escape until you've reached the first scene, which everyone will skip just like you asked them to.
I'm not going to walk through the whole run in this post, but basically, use Deadly Paradox, Shadow Form and Dark Escape all together when you need to, and as Shadow Form runs out you should cast Heart of Shadow and Feigned Neutrality. Move around to avoid attacks for the few seconds until you can re-use SF and then use 1,2,3 again. (Remember to re-collect the Crystal after each shadow step)
Purge is for if you get caught out by a Sword or unluckily blasted by a pod. Resurrect is to expose scammers who die against your advice, expecting you to be unable to res them.
If anyone finds they can't complete it with this advice, feel free to contact me in the game. I'm usually in Elona Reach these days. Funny thing that.

Just woke up and downloaded the update, found that DA no longer shortens the recharge of DE. I'll work out a way around this tomorrow.

Okay, I had two choices. Cry over the corpse of Deadly Paradox (as something more than just a shadow form booster) and stay poor, or make a new build that wasn't as rickety feeling as the "Oh well, I'll stick Siphon speed in there instead" thing. Here it is, and it's faster and perhaps safer than the first build was.
A/D
16 shadow arts
12 wind prayers
Deadly Paradox
Shadow Form
Featherfoot Grace
Dark Escape
Dash
Heart of Shadow
Feigned Neutrality
Ressurrect (to revive people hoping to scam you by dying, and because no other skill is needed to do the run perfectly)
Featherfoot grace is an enchantment, and when you're using a 20% enchant mod and not carrying a crystal, it's permanent barring the cast time. When you `are` carrying a crystal, dash covers the last 3 seconds. Use Dark Escape and Featherfoot Grace in tandem with eachother when you're taking damage, because the speed bonuses stack. Enough said, since safe points and build use are obvious.
My first finish was 23:55 seconds (mission and bonus) remaining with this build, making it faster and safer than even the nippiest rangers.

How do people scam you by dying now? I'm not really experienced in the ways of running (although this build has piqued my interest) and I'm curious as to why it matters whether other people die or not, as long as you get the mission done.

If you say "pay me in augury rock".. well, they've already got the mission and bonus, so there's nothing to stop them leaving at that stage..
I say "Pay on the last crystal", and people who join with no intention of paying for the run often feign absolute idiocy and die. For this reason, I res them and tell them to escape while I hold the mob. Most of the time, they reveal they can't pay by leaving.
"Mending Touch>Purge Conditions"
I'll refer Tan Blademaster to post #4. Since I'm no longer A/Mo, I simply make a little extra effort to avoid getting hit. With Featherfoot Grace up almost all of the time, cripple never out-lasts the shadow form I'll trigger if I get snared anyway.
As before, if anyone needs help executing the build, I'm almost always on line and happy to demonstrate it!

Oke. First of all learn how to quote...
Second of all - I was stating in general Mending Touch>Purge Conditions as the OP had purge in it and mending touch is better.

How rude. I happen to know how to quote, but was only here to make a very quick reply, so I didn't go to the effort.
The reason I took purge was because I didn't have mending touch bought for my assassin at the time of build making, and there's hardly any point in unlocking something you don't ``need`` to run when you've got something that works, is there? No, there isn't.
That's the only reply I can spare for you. You shan't--[edit] okay, you did get another. I'm putting all that aside now. Something so small doesn't really call for days of debate.

What are you on about man? Calm youself down. I was just saying that mending touch is better. I wasn't trying to be rude or offensive...I wasn't being spitefull at all lol...wow you are way too defensive...
But on topic - Your build does seem pretty good for the situation you are in. Yea I would agree with you that your A/D build is better than your A/Mo one.

I was getting uppity and defensive at the "Oke, learn to quote", not the suggestion (which was all well and fine).
Final change to this one.. Umm, I managed to pick up a +30hp / -20% crippled time Gloom Shield today.. Just incase featherfoot grace isn't up and you get `really` unlucky, this is probably the absolute *optimum* setup, but it's not at all necessary.. You could probably do this with Xuekao's daggers..
That's all on this one!

mitsuki taught me this run and yea
once you get good enough, you hardly even need to use mending touch. but yea i suggest mending touch than purge conditions or anythign else. and mitsuki your build is just fine and i like it =P
thanks for the help heh you'll see me runnin there too a bit since its my only source of income =,= - idont like farming-
oh as for my equipment, i just use a totem axe and a -5 shield that only works 20% of the time and i can still make runs 100% =.=

I shall refer you also to post #4 Aaron! I have a feeling I was still using siphon speed when I demonstrated the run for you, and since then I've found a much better way as an A/D. You needn't use Shadow Form at more than 3 places now, as opposed to 4 or 5 stops with the A/Mo build.
